We decided to fabricate the solar tracker because it was essential to ensure that enough energy is generated to power the pump. Without the solar tracker, the efficiency of the solar panel is reduced by a massive factor, and it would not produce enough energy for the system to work at all. We have decided to make the component out of aluminum because it needs to be just sturdy enough to hold up the weight of the solar panel, especially when it is tilted. Also, it is weather resistant.
